Spring 2017 Newsletter
Hi everyone!
Welcome back to the Newsletter! I'd like to start off by saying...
PEOPLES! I HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

THE BIG LITTLE
NEWSLETTER
Big/Little Appreciation is MONDAY APRIL 3RD! So, in honor of this auspicious occasion, send me your words of appreciation for your Big or Little for a special edition of the newsletter! I’ll be featuring 10 pairs for this special edition Newsletter (because featuring all the pairs would equate to one Harry Potter book and you all don't have time for that).
In your submissions, please include:
Why you appreciate your Big or Little
Why you’re glad to be paired together
Your favorite memory/favorite thing about them
Pictures!
EMAIL these to me by Monday April 3rd (Big/Little Appreciation) @ MIDNIGHT! Emphasis on EMAIL, because if you send this to me via any other platform I won't accept it. My Wildcats email is mk1080, so hit me up!

Relay for Life
Attention one and all! Did you know that you can earn hours for participating in Relay for Life?
Here's how!
You can earn up to FIVE hours for walking in Relay for Life!
You can earn up to FIVE hours for raising money for Relay for Life!
For you first $100 that you raise you receive 1 HOUR of Service!
For every $50 you raise after your first $100, you receive a 0.5 HOUR of Service!
You can also earn hours for signing up to Table for APO at Relay for Life!
Tabling has not been added to APO Online yet, so stay tuned!
That's a total of 15 possible hours! HOWEVER, once you get five hours in one of those categories, it maxes out. So you can raise up to $500, receive 5 hours, but it maxes out after 5. The same goes with Walking and Tabling. Also, don't participate if all you want are hours. Relay for Life is a wonderful event to be apart of, and it means so much more just to be there to be part of such a big event.

Things to think about for next semester:
Foundation for Faces of Children
(Fundraiser for Fall 2017)
As presented by Stacie Rotatori
What is it? “The Foundation for Faces of Children is dedicated to improving the lives of children with craniofacial differences, including cleft lip, cleft palate, and other head and facial conditions. Our mission is to provide patients and families with the most accurate, up-to-date, and accessible information about facial differences, and to advocate for the best care possible for children with facial differences. ”
Why do I care? Goldenhar syndrome is a rare congenital defect characterized by incomplete development of the ear, nose, soft palate, lip, and jaw
Personal Connection Stacie has had 13 surgeries to date. Her case of Goldenhar syndrome is mild compared to the other cases. She’s supposed to be an identical twin, but because of Goldenhar, her and her twin still don’t look much alike.

Well, that's all I have! Sorry that when the Newsletter first posted it looked a little drab. Damn technology.
Anyway, see you all later!
