Relay for Life Update

Current total: $4,300

Reminder: our goal is $15,000!!

*Relay for Life is looking for someone to put together a promotional video for the event!! If you are willing to help out, please contact Emma Jones!

If you haven't made an account yet, please sign up!! If you missed Sarah and Shayna's email last week with steps on how to sign up, here ya go:

1. Google “Relay for Life” and go to the first link.

2. Click “Join a Relay”

3. Type in 03824 and click “Relay for Life of University of New Hampshire”

4. Scroll down, click “Join this Relay”

5. Log in/create an account

6. Join “APO for John Grossi”

7. Set a fundraising goal

8. Link your fundraising page to your Facebook account

9. Start fundraising!

Mental Health Minute

This week, Mohamed shared a mental health minute with the chapter. He talked about how he enjoys watching motivational speakers because it helps him get motivated and focused on his goals. One speaker he mentioned was Eric Thomas. I linked a video for everyone to check out and see if this works for them!!

Treasurer

Reminder that dues are due TONIGHT by 11:59pm to avoid the late fee!! Unless you have already talked to Anika, you should pay your dues ASAP or get in contact with her to potentially avoid paying a late fee if you cannot pay online.

Pay dues online through the ticket office here. Remember to pay PNM dues if PNM, and brother dues if you're a brother!! PNMs only have to pay the PNM dues, not both!!

After 2/18: $5 late fee

After 2/25: $10 late fee

Service

Just some reminders from service!!

-Find out on your own if a service project needs a ticket and get the ticket in advance!!

-Exec members will be taking attendance at service and fellowship events if there are ones signed up from now on to avoid confusion and mass emails.

-Please send all service related emails to service's email address, listed above!!

*If you are the first to email Molly (mkh1015) the email address for service, you can earn /p/oints for your h0us3!!

Also, bro Maddie Smith is asking for clothing donations for a clothing drive she is participating in! If you bring 3 articles of clothing to donate to next chapter and show Julia and Katie, you can earn 0.5 service hours!!

Fellowship

-Check out fellowships office hours <3 They can be found under the "office hours" tab

-Please let Veronica and Jaime know if you need fellowships for specific days/time that fit your schedules well!!

-Don't forget to respond to the hosting emails that were sent out. I am guilty of this too (oops!! Sorry guys) Please get back to the A$AP Rocky

-Just a reminder that if 5 people are not signed up for a fellowship, it will not count. You will not be docked, you just will not get credit for it. If you really want a fellowship you're signed up for to happen, post about it on FB to try to get people to sign up too :)

Membership

Contact Sam and Brianna if you are interested in running a workshop during retreat!! Also, check out retreat committee if you have any ideas to help out.

We also voted during chapter on whether we wanted to give out a DSK award this year at banquet. If you need to brush up on what that is, I provided the description from chapter below:

New Member Educators

Preferences are due TONIGHT by 11:59pm!! This is a strict deadline that you are strongly encouraged to follow, or your preferences might not be considered. I hope you were inspired by Alex and Kellee's third hilarious TikTok to get your requirements done.

You cannot be like Michael and try to run away from your responsibilities!!

SAAs

Last week's amendment to the bylaws that we discussed about fellowships was voted on and passed!! Now for a fellowship to count, 5 members must be in attendance, 3 of whom are brothers.

This week, three amendments were proposed, and they will be voted on next week during chapter:

The joke-off continued this week, and this week our wonderful historian Cameron stepped in for Mike, who was not present at chapter. Cameron one the Chapter over with his joke about bellybuttons, bringing the tally up to:

Alright everyone!! That just about does it for me. Before I officially sign off, I wanted to give a huge congratulations for all of our amazing brothers who participated in the Vagina Monologues! It was one of the best events I've been to on campus. Cheers to all of you!!
