Hello hello Brothers and PNMs! I hope all of you are having a wonderful start to your week! Last night was the first Chapter meeting that the PNMs joined us and we are so excited for them to begin their journey to become Brothers!

This week in Chapter the Exec board for this semester introduced themselves and explained a bit about their positions. Here's who's who in our Exec team!
Julia is this semester's wonderful President! If you have points to submit or any questions or issues with anything that comes up, you can email her at alphaphiomegaunh@gmail.com.
We did have a moment of very serious warnings- APO has a STRICT no-alcohol policy. This means no socials, big/little interactions, or social media posts can have alcohol in them. Brothers: if you have letters in your bio or on your person and post a photo of yourself drinking there will be consequences. Please don't put yourselves into a bad position, be smart about what you post!
Cara is our lovely Treasurer this semester! She reminded us to pay our dues- both Brothers and PNMs- and to text her or email the treasurer's email if we have any questions.
Cara also explained how the dues break down and where the money goes: everything except for the $3.50 Exec Budgets, Chapter Finances, Misc. part goes directly to the National Office.
This semester's Membership co-chairs are the superb duo of Alex and Veronica! They have two announcements: first, if you were a PNM last semester, go see them during Office Hours because the certificates for becoming Brothers are in! Secondly, if you have not yet done the Membership survey, you will be marked Inactive. If this is a mistake please email membership.thetazeta@gmail.com.
The Exec members leading this semester's PNMs to Brotherhood are the great pair Kellee and Shayna! They encouraged Bros to become Bigs, with preferences due September 25th. They also told us that next Chapter is Pinning, so all PNMs and Bros need to wear Business Casual! (If you are a PNM who is not on the Facebook page or APO Online, please go talk to your NMEs)
Our excellent Service co-chairs are Anika and Molly, who reminded us to sign up for events on APO Online and to send in attendance- the first Brother who signs up is responsible, unless an Exec member is signed up. Off-campus events may use the APO Online check-in feature on the app!
Three upcoming events have clarifications: for the blood drive, please take a photo of yourself giving blood/in the room, and for Echo Thrift shop it works differently this year. We will be paired up with employees with Down's syndrome to be friendly, but if this makes you uncomfortable please don't sign up for this service project.
Also, the Bin Goalie service project happens multiple times per day, multiple days of the week, but to make the APO Online calendar less cluttered it is only listed on Mondays. You can sign up using the external link for other times, and send a photo to apothetazeta.service@gmail.com!
Our Fellowship fellows this semester are the power team of Tim and Madison! They ask Bros and PNMs to join the Banquet committee, host some socials using the Wix submission portal, and to fill out the Fellowship Survey if you have not already!
Our super-fun Fundraising duo this semester is Jamie and Emily! If you have any ideas for fundraisers that you would like to see happen this semester, take the Fundraising Survey!
Our heroic Historian for the fall is Meg! She asked anyone who wishes to submit Sunshine News (PNMs, Brothers, Alumni, anyone!) to use the Wix Submission Portal!
Our commanding Corresponding Secretary this semster is Sam! She announced that LD Day will be October 26th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at UVM, with more details to come later.
Our perfect Public Relations co-chairs are Sophia and Sara, who invite Bros and PNMs alike to slide into their DMs if you have a day you'd like to do an Instagram or Snapchat takeover! Also, if you have any ideas for APO swag, send them to thetazeta.apo.pr@gmail.com.
This semester's Recording Secretary is me, Mikayla. I am asking that you read the Newsletter if you miss Chapter, and email me the answer to the week's trivia for House Points! (For example...what is my favorite fruit?)
Our superb Sargent At Arms this semester is Cameron! He asks that any Brothers and PNMs interested in Bylaws Committee join him every other Thursday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
This week's Brother of the Week is Sophie Baker! đ Congrats Sophie!
Some of our Advisors have unfortunately left UNH, but fortunately we have two new ones who we are super excited to get to work with! Chelsea, the RHD from Hunter Hall, and Megan, the head of Civic and Commmunity Engagement, are our advisors, while Mims is our representative for the National Board of Directors! Go say hi if you see them in Chapter, they are super nice!
If you are new to APO or need a refresher on how to earn points for your house, here's a quick refresher: any of the above actions can earn points! Please note that only one photo per Exec member will earn you points, and get consent before snapping a selfie!
Open Forum
APO will be at the community service fair from 12:30-2:00pm, come say hi or volunteer!
Fill a Ziploc bag with acorns or pine cones and bring it to Service office hours to get 1hr of service!
If you want to be a UNH Tour Guide, email Cara or go to the admissions office to get an application due October 18th!
There is a Krispy Kreme fundraiser! Email adc1030@wildcats.unh.edu if you want some!
The Wellness-fest is next Thursday, September 26th at the HRC- go get lots of cool free stuff!
The Point System starts up this week, so next Chapter's Open Forum can count towards points for your House!
