Happy International Women's Day!


Even though we didn't talk about it in chapter, I wanted to remind all the women in APO that you rock :)

We voted on if our chapter is giving out the DSK Award this semester, and it passed! Information on the award is above and we will be nominating and voting for the recipient later in the semester!

DUES ARE DUE NEXT WEEK! PLEASE PAY THEM!

- Next bylaws are this Thursday March 11th from 4:30-6pm!

- The topic will still be Pandemic Proceedings!

- Our amazing corresponding secretary has coordinated a service opportunity with the chapter at the University of Kentucky!

- It is scheduled for Wednesday at 7pm!

- Make sure to sign up on APO online and fill out the sign up form provided by UK!

- There's another opportunity with the chapter at the University of Kentucky with some good ole fashion penpals! Get involved and make new friends!

- Sign ups close on March 14th and pairs will be sent out by March 28th!

- You will receive one fellowship credit if you communicate with your partner twice!

- Mental Health Minute this week was done by Payton Lacroix! She took the time to tell us about what music means to her and how it is a great way to relieve stress!

Our amazing advisor, Mims, talked to us about the brave John Grossi. He was an advisor for APO at UNH for many year, and was extremely involved in any event he could make. Unfortunately, he passed about 16 years ago in March after a short, but hard fought battle with cancer. We honor his memory each year on Relay for Life to remind ourselves of the impact John Grossi had on APO at UNH.


Representatives from the American Cancer Society on UNH campus also talked to us at chapter today about some fundraising events they are hosting for Relay for Life! Information regarding the details of these events will be posted on the Facebook!
